Here's some info:

The living room has a wood stove and queen size sleep sofa, glass-enclosed porch has a twin bed. Upstairs are three bedrooms, two with double beds, and one with a single bed. You need to bring your own linens. We have plans to replace one of the double beds with a queen. There is a bathroom on each floor. There are laundromats in town.

We have a full kitchen with a kitchen table that can fit 4. The dining room has a larger table. There are 6 chairs in the dining room.

The house is located south of town at 175 Otter Cliffs Rd, an easy one mile walk to Ocean Drive, near the spectacular Otter Cliffs, which we think is the most beautiful area on the island. Thunder Hole and Sand Beach are within a 1.5 mile walk (7 miles by car). The park boundary is ½ mile away, and the house sits by a one-acre field with mountain views and surrounded by our 28 acres of woods.

The weekly rental for 2012 is $1200, plus 7% tax ($84).

The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove and refrigerator, microwave, cooking utensils, dishes, etc. Everything is furnished except bed and bathroom linens. There is a TV-VCR combination, and a full bookshelf.

We are a non-smoking establishment. Please confine any smoking to outdoors. Pets are not allowed.

There is a cabin behind the main house where the caretakers live, so that someone is usually on hand for questions or problems. Otherwise, you will find yourself in a peaceful field and woodlands setting, conveniently near Bar Harbor but away form the bustle of town.

The 2012 weekly rate for July and August is $1200 plus 7% lodging tax for a maximum of 8 people. (Off season rate is $800). We require one-half of that to reserve the house. Our weeks run from Saturday to Saturday.
